1. Acceptance of terms

1.1. Access to Potato Energy services hosted on the domains *.potatoenergy.ru , means the user’s unconditional consent to these Terms.

1.2. In case of disagreement with these Terms, the user is obliged to stop using the services.

2. Permitted actions

The user is allowed to:

2.1. Use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2. Create an account and manage personal data within the functionality of the services.

2.3. Report errors, send suggestions and feedback to the operator.

2.4. Publish content in compliance with the community rules and these Terms.

##3. Prohibited actions

The user is prohibited from:

3.1. Use the services for activities contrary to the laws of the Russian Federation or to cause harm to third parties.

3.2. Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, attack infrastructure, or circumvent security mechanisms.

3.3. Spam, harass users, or impersonate another person.

3.4. Use automated access tools (scripts, bots) without prior written consent from the operator.

3.5. Distribute content protected by copyrights or license restrictions without corresponding rights.

3.6. Perform reverse engineering, decompilation, or scanning of the internal systems of the services.

4. Disclaimer of guarantees

4.1. Potato Energy is a self-hosted project and is provided in an “as is” state.

4.2. The Operator does not provide guarantees regarding:

  • availability of services;

  • data integrity and safety;

  • no errors or interruptions in operation.

    4.3. The Services may be changed, suspended or terminated at any time without prior notice.

    4.4. The User assumes all risks associated with the use of the services.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1. The User undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of the credentials.

5.2. It is prohibited to transfer the account to third parties.

5.3. If unauthorized access is detected, the user must immediately notify the operator.

5.4. The User undertakes to respect the rights and privacy of other users.

##6. Termination of access

6.1. The Operator has the right to suspend or terminate the user’s access to the services in the following cases::

  • violations of these Terms;

  • carrying out abusive, malicious or illegal actions;

  • at the operator’s own discretion.

    6.2. The User has the right to delete his account through the settings of the service or by contacting the operator.

##7. Content and Data

7.1. The User retains the rights to the content uploaded to the services.

7.2. When publishing content to the public, the user grants the operator a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it within the Potato Energy ecosystem.

7.3. The Operator does not pre-moderate user content and is not responsible for its content.

7.4. Content that violates the law or these Terms is subject to removal without prior notice.

##8. Third-party services

8.1. Individual functions of the services can be integrated with external platforms (GitHub, Discord, Steam, etc.).

8.2. Interaction with third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8.3. The Operator is not responsible for the actions, policies or security of third-party services.

##9. Limitation of liability

9.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the services.

9.2. The total liability of the operator is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for access to the services (if there is such a payment).

9.3. The User undertakes to compensate the operator for losses incurred as a result of the misuse of the services.

10. Changes to conditions

10.1. The Operator reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions.

10.2. Continued use of the services after the publication of the changes means that the user accepts the new version of the Terms.

10.3. The user can be notified of significant changes through available communication channels if there is an appropriate subscription.

11. Applicable law and dispute resolution

11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.

11.2. All disputes and disagreements are subject to resolution at the operator’s location in accordance with the procedural legislation of the Russian Federation.
